It was such a lovely party!

Well, we had my parents Golden Anniversary party, and it just went off perfect! Everything was just right, my sister did a terrific job on decorations, and we told stories, and I hope just really honored my mom and dad. There were about 70 people there, and it was held at the country club.
I wish I had my sd card here so I could show you my ds, he looked like such the little man, so cute! He wore blue cords, a dress striped blue shirt, with a sweater vest pullover. I didn't want to do a suit and tie, cause the only tie he would ever wear it again would be christmas, then he would outgrow it before we could wear it again. He looked so cute though.
Yes, he was the only child there, but he was so well behaved. I had to laugh though, cause towards the end he says "mommy, can we go now? my tummy hurts" I said "bradley, that is because you ate the whole chocolate bar aunt Cathy gave you. Wait until they cut the cake" "Mommmmmmm, I don't want to wait, My tummy hurts" So I say, well you have to just a while longer. So he goes off, and comes back a few minutes later. "mom, my tummy feels better, can I have some cake?" "Oh by the way, you do NOT want to go into that bathroom" roflol. I will spare you the details, but he goes on to describe it! uh--bradley dear, that is enough, just make sure you cleaned good, lol.
Anyway, just a short note, I am at work, but wanted to post this pic, so I snuck on here, lol. This is me, my dad, mom, and sister.

Tis the Season

to be jolly---yea, you just keep telling yourself that huh?
i love Christmas time- the part about having your house all decorated, all your gift shopping is done, things are made, and you just relax with the lights lit, drinking your tom and jerry's, enjoying the season. What I don't like is when:
1. I have to do all of the decorating myself. um, yep, no one would help me, the scrooges. I did 2 trees, all the indoor deco, AND the 30 foot snowman in the yard, the proch lights, most of the house lights that were low. I told dh I wanted them on the peaks- he has not done that yet. He got mad at me yesterday cause I was up on the ladder putting up lights, and promised he would do it today after work. I told him if he didn't, I would be on the ladder friday, getting the job done!
2. Rude shoppers. I try to be extra nice when I am out. I even force a smile sometimes, lol. i am courteous to other drivers, let people in, and try to take that extra step in this time of year. But NOOOOOO not some people, they have a way of runing your whole day. Like the lady that almost plowed over me at hobby lobby rather than wait until I crossed the street to the front door. She saw me, like that 5 sec. it would have taken me to walk would have kept her from her destination any sooner.
Or the lady who decided she didn't want to wait for me to finish my u-turn. I was all the way in the middle of the lane, all I had to do was step on the gas. I was in the lane. She comes barreling up, and tries to pass me on the right shoulder. She ended up going off, into a dirt field, lolol, missed the ditch by 3 feet darn it, that would have been really funny. Then she has the nerve to honk at me--I wanted to flip her off, but I smiled and waved. :D
3. We have my parents 50th wedding anni this week. We are holding a formal dinner for about 60 people. Like I really have time to plan this with all th other things going on. But they are worth i, and I love them, so I will make time. I took their pictures night before last, and I am getting them printed today. I will attach a couple here.
4. I always forget what I bought someone, and end up buying for them again. Needless to say they get spoiled. I have vowed to write stuff down this year, but so far it hasn't happened, and I noticed I bought my sister way to much already.
5. I have to fit my full time job in here somewhere--I hate it when work gets in the way of life!

I have had nooooo scrappy time

man, I really wanted to scrap this week too. Nope. Moved my neice out of her apt. for 2 days-- the 2 days I had reserved for scrappy time. oh well, she is worth it.
I have been getting a little bit of time here and there to work on my christmas balls- it is easier to work on them because the creative mess with them is less, lol. I usually do it while watching tv downstairs with the family. I just play with my poly clay, making the designs into a log roll, and then I have a little lap table, so i can cut the roll into disks, and stick them onto the balls. Then I bake them all at once, easy peasy. I found a really cute stolie bottle in my neices apt. It was some high end alcoholic drink that she should not have had, but the bottle was way cool. It had a wodden cork, and a cool shape. So I stole it from her, lol. I have covered it with pink and brown clay-- those are her colors. I did a brown roll, and surrounded it by pink, then cut it up, and covered the bottle. I ran out of clay though, and I have about 2 inches all the way around to finish. So I will get some mor, but do a pink roll surrounded in brown clay for the bottom. Then I will give it to her for christmas, lol. It looks way cooler altered!
Yeah, I know, still no pictures. one of these days!
So I have a "I love your blog" award around here somewhere from my good friend Mer, but I haven't done my part of it yet, so I haven't posted it. I will! (promise Mer) I am such a procrastinator, and last minute doofus!
Well, I need to go find me a diet coke so I can stay up the rest of the night. (I am at work) I need a little caffeine jolt going here. ttyl

Just a quck note

because I don't want to nelgect my blog. :D
Lots happening this week, not all good. But we will get thru. I have been busy this week finishing up my swap christmas bulbs- yes I will get pictures when I get all the ribbon on themj, lol. I hve been cooking-- not just for thanksgiving, but for my plan all week. oh and
I HAVE REACHED MY 100 POUNDS LOST!!!! Can you believe i? in less than a year-- in fact, since March 9th, 2008 I have lost 100 pounds. I am so excited. Especially since I think I can keep it off if I just remember my new eating habits, lol. I have learned to cook without using fat and salt, and have it actually taste pretty good using the hundreds of other spices out there. (hey, butter and salt makes EVERYTHING taste good, lol.
Anyway, lots of our turkey day meal are using subs for the high fat stuff, and you can't really even tell, except it won't leave you feeling so bogged down afterwards. For instance I used nonfat milk and cream of celery soup in my green bean casserole instead of the whole milk, and cream of muchroom.
I used splenda in my cranberry salad instead of sugar. Used light whip cream. I wanted to make my own using dream whip, but the store didn't have any.
My mom has been using chicken broth instead of oil to cook other struff, so I am kind of excited for dinner to see how everything turned out. :D
Well, I hope you all have a fantastic day today! I will be at work tongiht, but I have alot to be thankful for, so i don't mind.

Pretty Monday!

wow, it is a beautiful day here today. crisp and clear, blue sky, and in the 50's. Winter is coming, but I think today is a day to be enjoyed!

So, I am in this swap every year with 11 other girlfriends. We have kind of like a christmas cookie swap, but we also make 12 handmade ornaments, and trade, so we get 11 others that the other girls have made. I have been doing this for about 5 years, and my tree is just full of handmade ornaments every year. I so look forward to adding to it each year. My goal is not to have any store bought ornaments on the tree- some day! I love to load the tree, lol. Anyway, this year I am really pleased with the way my ornaments are turning out!
I will post a picture of them when I done with them, but I discovered how to make canes with sculpy clay. They are so fun to make! I did one cane with a snow flake in the center, and another with a snowman head. So then I sliced them up into small "disks" for lack of a better word, and covered a glass ball with the designs. Then I baked them. So that part is all done. all I need to do now is go buy some matching ribbon (um- I probably have plenty in my ribbon stash, but don't want to search, lolol) and add a bow to the top, along with a sprig of something from hobby lobby. Oh, yeah, and I am going to go buy a can of polyurethine from home depot to coat them with so they will be shiny. I can't wait to finish them, and thought about doing it today-- but it is so dang pretty out! I really need to get out and do some exercise. such is life, we will let you know later what I decided, lol.
I do have to scrap today, I have an assignment using luxe products. Got a ton of it, and it is cool!
Well, better go, the phone is ringing.

Now I need to go down and work on some home made christmas ornaments. I have a group every year we do a cookie exchange, as well as a handmade ornament exchange, so I have 12 I need to make before the first week of December. I am going to use poly clay- I will have to post if and when I ever get them done, lol. tata for now! :D

Seems like every time I post, lol.
Oh well. Just sitting here, just watched the presidental bash from sat. night live, loved it! So funny. Now I am sitting here watching walker texas ranger-- boring! I need a life!
Nothing ultra creative today, I did finish up a layout, and made a necklace. I have ideas, but just can't seem to get started! oh, I did paint a picture frame, and put a layout of dh's mother in it. I am going to give it to him for his birthday next week. I am looking around the house, and it is so sad, every picture of family is of either us or my family. There is none of his.
His parents are both gone, but sheesh, how insensitive of me, I don't even have a picture of them up!! And I thought it was rude when one year we went to see his dad and step mother. There were pictures of the grand kids hanging everywhere. All of them. All of them, except for my baby. He was only 1 year old at the time. I asked Jean (his step mom) if she recieved the pictures I send of bradley (obviously because they were not displayed, lol) and she said "oh yes, they are here" and they were put in a magnetic album. I was sooooo hurt. My precious, was not framed or displayed like any of the other grand kids. (so grand parents, make sure you have all the kids up, lol)
Anyway, dh does not have hardley any pictures of his family. We recieved a few when his mother died a few years ago. I am going to enlarge some of them, and frame them for hanging around the house. No wonder dh feels like this is my house, and not his, lolol. He is so sensitive== but hey, he never said anything!!!
Anyway, I have spent today emailing old friends that I have not talked to in ages. Getting nostalgic I guess. I miss my 20's-- I feel old. dh is going to be 50 this year, makes ME FEEL OLD! Poor guy, but I am not far behind, lol. That is just such a in your face age I guess. Hopefully it will pass without any thing just like 40 did. Now 30-- I had a real problem with that one! I guess it is better than the alternative! :D
Well, off to watch the rest of walker, then to bed. Maybe I can get some layouts I have been doing posted here soon, since no one else will ever see them, lol. tootles!

I just haven't had any time!

So I am at work right now, been wanting to update, and find I can't do a good job of that without my computer, lol. Has all my pictures and stuff on it.
So the ebay guy finally sent the package after I went to paypal to get my money back. But I had told him I didn't want the thing now, it was to late, he was a liar, cause he said he had mailed it when he didn't and I didn't want to do business with him. I told him ot to send it or I would send it back. He sent it anyway, and paypal closed the case. that really irritates me. I tried to reopen it, but the sit wont let me. It says you can appeal, but there is no place I can find to appeal. probably should just drop it, lol.
Well, I went to Utah for the Creativexpress crop-- It was such a good time! I got to see old friends, and new ones I hadn't met in real life yet. We had such a blast! I will post some pictures when I get a moment.
I recieved a box of goodies from Around The Block for my DT stuff-- ohh scrappy treats! very fun stuff. Got paper treats, a gun tagger, with tags that are pre-fab to use. Some 7gypsies paper, frames, and chipboards, I got ends to the paper gator- but I don't have one, so maybe that will be later. :P Now If I can just carve out a few minutes to scrap, all will be well.
Are you ready for Halloween yet? We decorated this year, but I have not bought any candy yet. Afraid dh and ds will eat it all before then, so I guess I will go out on the 31st and get some, lol. I don't want to get into it either. hmmmmmm maybe pencils and erasers would be a better treat for this year. I just may do that much to my boys dismay, lol. I don't want to be tempted anyway-- there is enough here at work to avoid!
ok, well, I better get busy, just wanted to update a tad so it doesn't look like I am neglecting my bloggie. :D

I am a tad bit irritated at an ebay guy.

So I have painter X, and it is such a cool program! BUT you really need a wacom tablet to get it's full capacity, so I went onto ebay and bought one. I paid on sept. 23rd. I have not seen hide nor hair of it! it has been 3 weeks. I have emailed him, first on the 30th of sept. and he said, sorry, i am mailing it tomorrow. Then on the 7th, where he said he didn't have a tracking number, but he had mailed it. Now this guy has over 1000 feedback, and has sold a ton of these tablets, so where is mine? I paid for priority shipping too! Now Priority shipping to means I will get my product within 3-7 days, tops, not 3-7 days after he decides to sick it in the mail. I was so anxious to try it out, now I won't be able to until after the Utah crop-- assuming it gets here before then.
I am going to zip him another email that says if I don't get it by tuesday (3 weeks?) that I am going to request my money back from paypal--unless he can provide me a tracking number. And I will be leaving negative feedback at that time. I hate leaving negative feedback- but you know- if your going to run a business- then you need to run it- am I being to harh or impatient?

On another note, I can't wait to to go Utah this next weekend!! I have so much to do until then, but no time to do it, lol. I am working until wed. and then leave bright and early on thrusday morning. ugg- lots of packing and planning to do.

I tried out for the Design team "Around the block". They are a manufacturer company of tools and treats for scrapbookers. (mostly). This is their website here. http://www.aroundtheblockproducts.com.
Anyway, I made the team! yay! I love thier brads, and paper treats, they have so much. i am looking forward to using their tools- especially the paper gator, which is a corner rounder that will do a ton of pages at once. I only have one other design team commitment, which is pretty low key, so I thought this would be fun. This company is owned by a parent company that also owns 7 gypsies (love their stuff) and the newly reformed Chatterbox (oh, love all their new goodies too) So I will get to be working with their products as well. I am very happy! :D

Color Sunday

Oh, I love fall! so pretty. We went up to the lake today, fished for 3 hours, and ds caught the only fish. My mom and dad went, and me and ds. dh HAD to watch football-- broncos lost, lol. serves him right! Here are a couple of pics I took up there.

Well, I have been a scrapping fool!

I have really been enjoying myself the last few days. I need to get my butt out of the scrap room, and work on picking up the house, lol. Here are a few of my creations. I like them all when I did them, but now I am rethinking the bird one, lol. Why do we do that?
Oh, whoo hoo, I made the next round at badgirls. BUT this week the class is on negative space, and balence. I suck at negative space, but did it, and actually like the layout. that one is first, it is the "us" layout. hmmmm, I must like that picture, I scrapped it twice, lol. Actually the print maching went crazy at sams and I got triples for the price of singles. Just what I needed.

Well, I just finished a 6 night stretch, and I am throughly enjoying my days off. :D
I got my new cricut cartridges in the mail-- Storytime, stretch your imagination, and paper doll dress up, so I have been playing!
So this is my entry for this weeks class over at badgirls. The assignment is using more that 2 pattern papers, and drawing out the colors of your photo. Is this to much? IDid I kind of go overboard? I like the layout, it just seems a little- well- busy, lol. Let me know what you think, I have until sunday to post it. :D

Still doing well on my new way of eating, but my loss has stalled this week. That's ok, I know it has to move sooner or later! that last 20 pounds is always the toughest they say.

I am going to a crop in October in Utah with my friends from Creative express. I have such sweet and fun friends!! Kristy isn't going to be there because they are going on a vacation, but she has offered her house for me to stay in. What a sweet heart! Then Amy says I am welcome to stay at another gals house too. I think Mer and I plan on getting a hotel room, if she still wants- even though she lives in Utah, lol. I am really excited! Can't wait to see my old friends, and meet some that I have not met in person before! dh doesn't even know I am going yet, I haven't told him because i don't want him to suddenly make plans, and then leave it to me to figure out what to do with ds, lol. He has done that before--I think he doesn't like to stay home alone, so he tries to plan a trip to denver to visit his friend. I'll let him know maybe 3 days before, after I ask him wht he is doing for the weekend, lol. I am such a stinker, I know how to work around him, I tell ya! Gotta love him though. OK, more later. :D

Pretty simple,eh? Until you get to the 6 unspectacular quirks of your own. That's tough!

so here goes.

1. I can not stand slap stick comedy. hate it. Stupid shows do not make me laugh. example the movie "Airplane" or more recently "Don't mess with the zohan" Just dumb dumb, I usually turn it off, or leave the room. And I won't go see one in the theather if i even think it MIGHT be slapstick.

2.I have to sing along when the radio is on. I just do. I have to be very careful about this though, because I really can't carry a tune, so it depends on who is around. I really get in trouble with my Ipod, cause I tend to sing along with that too. I even caught myself singing along to it in walmart, lost in my own little world. Probably freaked a few people out-- no wonder they were looking at me funny.

3. I am a compulsive shopper. I will go to the store for something, and sometimes I leave without ever getting the one item I went in for, because I got distracted, and spend 200.00 on other junk. If I like it, I buy it. I don't even know if I can afford it half the time, but I buy it anyway. I used to buy like that for dh, but he never appreciated it, so I quit, and started spending it on me. :D And I rarely take anything back. even if it doesn't fit, or I decide I don't like it after all-- it sits in my closet, or some other storage place in the house. I have clothes in my closet I have had for 2 years, with the tags still on them. You think the store would take it back now?

4. Well in continuation of 3-- I am a pack rat. I keep every freaken thing, cause I might "need" it someday. Drives dh crazy cause he is total opposite! I have found things in our trash that he tries to sneak out, thinks I won't miss it, and I drag it back in. I have to check the trash every week by the curb to make sure he didn't throw something I want away. I haven't gotten to the point of only pathways in the house, lol, hopefully I can work on letting go. :D

5. I love pj's! I own probably 30 different pajamas, and I have to wear them (the matching set) to bed. No sleeping in my undies, or the buff, I am just not comfortable.

6. I am all or nothing. If I start a project, book or what ever, I will not do anything else until it is done. If I quit- then it will never get done, ever. I have been able to leave pages half done and return to them, but only because they were left out. If I start a book, I cannot put it down- or I won't pick it up again. That is why I am not a reader-- I would be there for 24 hours, or how ever long it took to finish the thing, lol.

Well Good Wednsday Morning!

So, I am sitting here, just got brad off to school-- he is walking with a friend. Then all of a sudden-splat- a torrential downpour! Man it is raining! So I run out to the car, and drive off to go find them. There they are- 2 soaked little rats, not even half way to school, lol. So I pick them up, and the only thing my son was worried about is what his friends were going to think, because I was still in my pajamas! I told him, I was going to get out at the drop off point, and do a little dancwe in the rain so all his friends could see. (smirk) He about had a cow. "You better not mom" (I didn't, I didn't want to get wet, lol)

Night before last I took a pretty good spill. I was trying to be quiet so I would wake up dh, walking toward the bed. ds had taken his shoes off in my room, it was dark, and I tripped on it. I went flying! I did one of those trips where you run to catch your balence- but there was only about 3 feet to run in, as I headed toward the window. Thought I was gonna go thru it! I managed to hit the wall, bounce back, and fall onto the night stand, knocking everything off it before I hit the floor. Ouch! Now I have a huge bruise on my hip, where it caught the corner of the night stand, I have a sprained ankle, and both my knees are killing me. It pains to walk up the stairs. damm shoe.

OK, so I have become the area photogpher around here, lol. When I was in school, you had your senior pictures done by the school. They would not accept outside pictures. (I know this because I am not in the yearbook, they wouldn't take my picture done by olin mills, lol) Anyway, now you have to go get them done at your choice of place and submit them to the school. Well, the cheapest both my friends found were over 200.00, and that was only for a few prints. So we set up dates, and I went out and took pictures for them. Now I am not a photogpher, but I think I got a few suitable pictures for them to use. They were happy.But I have been having fun with my paint program too, and in editing them, I added a few little extras, lol. The first one is Romell, and the second is Marisa.



I was happy to save my friends some money. :D

The Bad girlskit.com contest started yesterday. They moved servers, so are having website problems. hope they get it fixed soon. Yesterday there ere about 10 layouts already for the first "class" and now they are gone. I uploaded mine last night, but may have to redo it. This one was all about layering. So I went to town with my cricut! I love that thing! Anyway-- here is my layout for this week-- you think it is to much?


Well, I guess I will see if I make "honor roll" next week, lol.

I had someone steal my credit card info on my scrapbook rewards visa. They changed my profile, my mailing addy to somewhere in kansas, and then ordered an HP computer system online. My cc caught it, but man, I am having to jump thru hoops! I am so irritated. I have to sign affidavits, mail them in-- make a police report-- which is not easy feat. It appears since I am in the county, I have to go thru the sherrif's office. For them, I have to fill out a "fraud packet", then set up an interview wih the officer in charge of that. Only that officer is there only 2 days a week, and they are not the same 2 days. grrrrr. So I went yesterday-- nope- try back again tomorrow. It's not like the office is next door either. I am extremely irritated. then I get the notice from the cc co yesterday that it has to be filled out by the 10th (today) or they will "assume" the charges are legit. grrrrrrrr. one day? Why is it so easy to steal cc numbers, but almost impossible to correct them? mad is an understatement!
Anywho, I guess I better get going on that fruad packet, and get r done. I have to go back to work tomorrow night-- another 6 nights of sheer fun. (hahaha)

Wow,, 3 months?

eeek! I vowed I was going to keep up too! Oh well, I guess I will begin again. :D

Since my last posting a ton has happened. My weight loss continues-I think I have this healthy eating down. It is saying away from the junk that still remains the problem, but I am doing pretty well. My total is up to 85 pounds lost, and 22 pounds to go. Of coarse everyone tells me I don't need to lose anymore, but they don't see the flabby thighs either, lol. I am wearing a size 10 misses, 12 regular clothes. feels good to be able to buy off the rack instead of layne bryant! Of coarse the household budget doesn't like it very well. I will be scrambling to make sure there is enough in the bank for my automatic house payment deduction, lol.
I also started taking 10% of my gross wages and putting it into a 403 retirement account. OUCH! that is a big hunk of change every check, but it is something I have to do. Besides my work will match up to 6%, so I felt I had to do it, that is free money from them. I will thank myself in 25 years, lol.

I am no longer designing for CreativeXpress. No longer designing for Everlasting Keepsakes, or anyone for that matter, except for my DT at scrapbookplayground. It takes off alot of pressure for me, I can now do some stuff for me! :D I am still doing outtathisfunk, but that is pretty low key, so I have time to do other stuff now! I just completed a mini album for my neice, I will do the cover this week. :D
I entered the contest at badgirls.com, so we will see how that goes. It starts monday. :D
I quit my kit clubs. Poppyink- they had some awesome kits, but were a tad high for what you got. My other one was jennibowlin.com, and while I loved the kits, they were unusual, they were not worth it. Retail seemed like half of what you paid, but what do I know? I need to use up my stash anyway.
Maybe I will join another after christmas, and all that stuff is behind me.
Personally- I got a great job review this year, I was really surprised after the last 2 years. I felt like someone was watching me all the time, lol. But things have been good there now, and I guess it showed, got alot of exceeds expectations- so :P.
We went on vacation in July, spent a week down by the beach. very relaxing, loved it! did alot of shopping there too, lol. OK, here is a picture of dh and I down by the coast. That's all for now, gotta try and get ds off to school, he says he doesn't feel good today- we will see. :D

Oh boy, been awhile

Sorry! I have just been so busy, blah blah blah. Actually I could have blogged if I wanted to, I just haven't felt like doing anything. I am so lazy.
Well, since my last post, I have lost a total of 53 pounds. I need to go up to the other computer and post my before and after pictures up to now. I just seem to always be on the wrong computer!
I can't say this new eating lifestyle is easy--there are lots of things I miss. I will be able to add things back in once I am done with the reduction phase, but alias, I really want some cheese. :D

Scrappy wise, I haven't done a darn thing! barely keeping up with my assignments. I do plan on scrapping tomorrow, but then again, I was going to do that today too, lol.

Summer is here- over here. It has been in the 90's this week, hot!!! Brad is having a blast with all the neighbor kids over here playing on the bumb n jump slide. Much to my dismay- I keep telling them to bring their own towels, lol. I am sick of the laundry. ugg!

Well, Robyn tagged me, I guess I better go see what that is all about, and ds is bugging me to make cookies- So I guess I will go put on the domestic apron for a bit.

well, since my last post, I started a new eating way of life, and have lost 17 pounds!! 3 weeks, 17 pounds== isn't that great? I am really excited. I paid alot for these 17 pounds, lol, hopefully it will be alot more.

ds has been sick for over 2 weeks with bronchitis, hopefully he is on the mend now. He missed so much school, I went to get homework, but there was none, they were doing csap testing. Missed that, lol.

I haven't scrapped much, a bit. I am starting a new project for CX tomorrow, should be fun. I just have not had mojo, or time for that matter. With all this new found energy, I have wanted to do active stuff! Today we went on a nature hike, probably about 2 miles through dirt, catus, and hills, but it was good exercise, lol.

Well, once again, i will try and visit at least once a week. HEY, bolggie gets more attention than my parents-- they probably hate me by now. Guess I will pop in for a visit tomorrow. talk to ya all later!!! love ya.

well, I have been away for a bit. I have done a ton of layouts, and if I were on my other computer, I might share some with you, but I'm not. :D

so ds is sick== he is going to school tomorrow, darnit== he does this- and I don't know if he is faking, lol. we will see tomorrow.

I am on a diet and have lost 11 pounds since last sunday. Yes, I know most of it is water, but don't burst my bubble damit.

dh leaves in the morning for snowmass- have to say, can't wait. How bad is that? I need some time away. He really irritated me today. Here it is Easter, and he takes off to play golf so he could get out of going to my parents for dinner--not cool. I don't know why he hates family functions, but he does. At least he went to church with us this morning.

I have 3 more days off before I go back to work, I hope to get some painting done before then.

oh--that is about it, I lead a BORING life. I need to get away for a few days. :D

(snicker) I am at work right now. Just did 6 nights in a row, and most of them were Hell! Really bad week. But aside from a HIPPA class at 2pm this afternoon, and CPR recert at 6-10 pm tonight, I am off for 8 days. :D

I hope to get lots done.

My Nephew and his wife are here visiting from washington. I finally get to see my grand neice. :D So I will be heading over there for lots of pretty girly pictures.

Then ds got a new lizzard (yeah, thanks dh, and you are getting the live crickets) so that should be fun getting pictures of that.

OK quick update since last post.
There is to much snow here, and I am ready for spring. Just when you think it is gone, it snows again. I guess it could be worse, my sister's house in pagosa spings has snow up to her windows. Her driveway is plowed, and the hills are taller than the house~! no thanks!

A company called "sure cuts alot" came out with software for the cricut to cut any file or font you want. Love it! Got the 12 size, and not only the cool cartridges, but any thing. dings, images, whatever. It takes a bit of work to convert them in to the right files, but what doesn't anymore? You can look at it at www.craftedge.com.

I had another Birthday. bleh. I hate getting older. ButbI will say this one was the best I have had in years. I got lots of presents, I didn't have to work, and felt a bit pampered!
I started by going to lunch and then to a movie with a friend. (27 dresses) then my parents took us to dinner at olive garden. Then we went to their house, and they had gifts and a cake for me.
Dh got me a GC to get a pedicure, and a GC for bath and body.
Sister got me a GC for Michaels
Brother got me a GC to a dept. store,
mom and dad got me perfume, fancy jeans, and a pretty pink shirt.
bff got me fancy capris, and a pretty shirt, and perfume.

Spoiled rotten. ok, but don't tell anyone. :D

I have been playing with my cricut, here is one of the layouts I did with one of the files I did for it.

I sure did! Mesquite was a blast. about quarter to midnight, I hit the video poker for a royal flush progressive==1600 Bucks baby! whoo hoo! That was such a great way to ring in the new year. :D

I er uh, drank a bit to much though, or it was the champane and wine mixture, but oh man, I did not feel so well on the first. Dh thought he was really funny by snapping a picture of me in all my glory! (dog, he will get his, lol) Yea, he thought I had so much that I wouldn't miss the 200 bucks he took from my wallet. HELLO-- YES I NOTICED---NOW GIVE IT BACK!!!!! grrrrrrrr. I already gave him a hundred to blow and I took a hundred to blow, and put the rest away!

Anyway, I had a wonderful time, even had a couple of guys hitting on me--with dh right there, lolol. Did my ego good. :D
