Haven't been here in quite awhile!

mostly because no one ever reads it anyway, lol. I have had a busy summer so far, and things are starting to get back into a routine now. Vacations are over, Brad is back in school, and I am back to work. (sob, I want more time off, but paid time that is, lol)_
Well, my last post was all about my incredible weekend in LA being treated like a movie star! Well-- They asked me back!! The 2nd time I did an interview with Michael Thrumond. 2 other gals were there with me, but we were interviewed seperately. It was a lot of fun, got some more clothes, and had a incredible 3 days. This time it was down town LA, stayed at the Marriott there, so I did a little retail thrapy while I was there, lol. Here are a few pictures from that shoot. The girl nancy with the blonde short hair, and purple shirt is the one who lost 375 pounds. (yes, three hundred and seventy five, not a type-o) The girl in the blue dress is Safiya, and she lost 120, and has kept it off for 5 years, and even had 2 kids inbetween! She was in the last informercial also.

Then at the end of July, my son and I went to Puerto Vallarta Mexico for Vacation! What a blast we had. The only thing I didn't like was there were so many people down there trying to get you to go to timeshare presentations. It was crazy. We did an outdoor adventrue where you take a boat to the Island, then you take those big jeeps with the handles to hold on to in the back, like an army truck up a hill to base camp. Then you ride burrows to the top of the forrest, and zip line down. It was so much fun, I can't even believe it! We repelled down a water fall, did a free fall for 200 feet-- that was so much fun. Here are a few pictures of that. Also we went on a couple of tours, held Iguanas, shopped at flea markets, swam with the dolphins, as well as spent a few days by the pool getting a tan, and I of coarse had to spend some time at the "swim up bar" that was located in the pool! Our hotel room had a kitchen living room, large bedroom, jacuzzi tub, seperate shower, and a cool balcony that had a pool on it, incase you wanted to swim after the main pools were closed. The main pools-- the place was a water park! They had 14 swimming pools that all connected, 2 wave pools, a water slide, and a lazy river around it all. Loved the inner tubes around the river, that is fun. Also a wave maker on part of the lazy river, that was a blast. Anyway, it will be a trip I hope he long remembers.
I havne't really done anything scrappy or creative lately, miss it, but just been to busy! My brother is getting married next week. He asked me to be the photographer. I have never done a wedding, I told him I would be willing to do it but not to expect a professional job. He was ok with that, so we shall see, lol. I do have adobe photoshop, autofx programs, twisting pixeles, and a ton of actions for photoshop, so hopefully I can make them look good! Any tips?
Well, I am at work, I gotta run, breaks over, lol. drop me a note, I may update more often, lol, and I will be sure and visit your blog too. :D

Wow, I just had the most incredible weekend!

I was chosen by Provida life sciences to do a testimonial for their new informercial. It is for the Michael Thrumonds 6 week body makeover, the plan I have been following for the last year.
Doing this plan has definately changed my life. I have lost 110 pounds, went from a size 24 to a size 6! ACK! I ahve never been a size 6-- except maybe once when I was 10, and on my way up to bigger sizes.
Anyway, they flew me out to california for the weekend. we did the tv shoot on saturday, it was so much fun! There were 7 of us. They treated us like big hollywood stars. My hotel room was on the 12th floor, and you needed your key card to get there. there was a resturant, bar, etc. on the 12th floor. And the reason you need a key card is the floor is reserved for stars! lol. I didn't find that out until my last night, or I may have hung out in the hall to see who I could see, lolol.
The shoot was awesome! There was a caterer there serving clean foods (oh,they were so good too) all day long. We hung out outside the set so we could see each person as they came out of wardrobe and makeup. We could go in and watch if we wanted, but I wanted to be surprised, and not as nervous, lol.
So they take me in and dress me after trying on 4 or 5 different outfits. One top I absolutely loved, but I couldn't fill it out, lol. I got to keep the clothes they dressed me in. And the beautiful necklace, and a new pair of spanks, and a new bra to boot!
Then off to hair and makeup. Don was the makeup guy. He does hollywood stars, especially before their filming. He does all the desperate housewifes- the show, not the reality one, and he has done big stars like katherine hepburn, and oh I can't remember all. He says he cannot write a tell all book until he is retired, lol, or he would never work again. He let me in on a few secrets tho, pretty funny--hey they are people too!
Then I went in for my testimonial. They used 3 tapes- I don't know if that is good or bad, lol. Most got 1 or 2. It was so fun, but I know I was nervous, I kept going blank- mid sentance, lol. so he would rephrase the question, and I would get my bearings together again.
After the shoot, one of the other gals and I went to dinner, then to the hotel bar for a glass of wine, and just talked. felt like we had known each other for ages. Sunday morning I flew back home, had to go to denver first, then on to GJ. It was fast, but so memorable! Something I will cherish forever. Now I have to get my pics developed so I can scrap it! Oh we got professional still done too.
There was one girl there that was absolutely such an inspiration to me on my own journey. She has lost 364 pounds! She was georgous! She has 18 pounds to go, but that is nothing compared. Anyway, here are a few pictures. we met Michael Thrumond, and he is here giving Nancy the girl that lost so much some pointers on firming up. Now mind you, some of these pictures are of me before hair, clothes and makeup, lol. There is a couple of me on the set.

Stupid Weather

Wel we WERE supposed to go rafting today up in glenwod springs. But no, the weather decided to be cloudy and rainy, so now we are not going. I am so disapointed! I have never been on a rafting excursion, and it just sounded so fun. So now there is nothing to do, it is wet and mudy outside.
Yesterday Iwent and saw star trek, so it's not like the movies even sound fun. sigh. I guess I should get happy, and pull out some scrapping stuff, but (gasp) that doesn't even sound fun right now.

Another Year

ohhhh, my baby is growing up! He urned 11 yesterday. In addition, he "graduated" from 5th grade. What a day.
He had a little graduation ceremony, they call it a rite of passage, lol. They called each child up, and broke a water balloon over their head. :d ds was the last child called, and they chanted his name as he went up. (the only one). Then the whole class broke out and sang happy birthday to him, and they took the biggest coldest water balloon, and broke it over his head. It was so cute.
Now I need to figure out what he is going to do all summer long to keep him busy! Summer school is out-- it is 730 am to 1230 pm. My sleep hours when I work, lol. Can't get up in the middl of the day to go get him. Scoccer is over-- so I am thinking I better come up with something quick, or my little chunky monkey is going to be a fat cow by summers end. He would love nothing more than to sit there and play video games all summer long. I have limited his time, but I also don't want him away from the house when I am sleeping. what to do? Any ideas?
I feel like a slug today-- I have so much I want to get done, but no ambition to do any of it! Ever get that way? Well, maybe antoher pot of coffee will help.

Ouch

I got rearended yesterday. My poor little 2008 escape, needs a new bumper, tailgate, and who knows what else under/behind the bumper. I must say, I am impressed with the guys insurance-- american family insurance. They have been so nice, accomidating. Have told me when I get my car in the shop, they will get the rental, turn in any medical, and as soon as they get the records will reimburse, and depending on what the med recs say, offer a reimbursment and settlement. (I really wasn't expecting one, just my med. bill, and my car fixed). My back hurts, but I think I will be ok.

Next bit of news--I spoke with the girl at providia today, and she can not tell me with 100% sureity, but says I am in the 99% range of being picked for the next 6 week body makover informericial!!! whoo hoo! I will go to LA, get a make over, professional pictures, and be in the commercial. My 15 minutes of fame! :D Really exciting--I could use a pampered weekend about now.

Scrapworld wise, haven't done anyting since last posting, except put together kits! I just need to get pics, and post them. I haven't sold any yet, I have no advertising, so if you want to help me get the word out, I would love that. ;)

I don't know if I have the energey to do this. It started out as going to sell provocraft cricut type stuff, and decided against that, as the buy in, was to high compared to profit-- as well as ebay sellers selling stuff for a dollar or two profit-- can't compete with that! (I really don't know how they do it!) But I did end up with a great distribution company that carries most new product lines, so if there is something you would like to see, let me know! Right now, I have the new little yellow bicycle zinna line, as well as a boys kit featuring MVP by we R memory keepers, and, and lil' man, by cosmo cricket, as well as the robots line by kaisercraft. hopefully I can get them up in he next day or two. well, gotta go, take some motrin for this back, tootles. :D

My baby brother is getting Married!

Wow, hard to believe. We never thought he would, lol. I always said if Bill ever finds a girl, it will be because the good lord dropped him in his lap--literaly. He just never went out and did anything, or asked anyone out. To shy I guess. Well, he had a huge house, with an entire basement that was un-used. (except for laundry, and a pool table) My sister had a friend who needed a place to rent (cheap) and so we asked my brother. They met, she moved in downstairs. That was about 2 or so months ago! They are perfect together though, and I just love her dearly. She makes my brother happy, I haven't seen him so ambitious about life before! So their date is set in Sept.---- talk about a whirlwind romance! Wish I had a picture of him handy to post. I am so happy for him!

I have this week off work, and I am getting ready to host a bunco party. That means cooking for 12 people. I have the stuff, now I just have to make it. :D It is actually a lot of fun, and I am looking forward to it, if I can get this old body going. I put in my garden-- I planted soooooo much, but my body is letting me know thet there are some muscles in there I didn't know Ihad! I am so freaken sore-- day 3, and I can hardley move. owieeee.
At that, I leave you. Here are a few layouts I have gotten done over the last week- I have a ton of ideas, until I sit to do them, then I have so much stuff, I get completely overwhelmed! Plus I have supplies all together for a new kit, but can't seem to get a picture of it to get it up for sale. To much going on I guess. ttyl!

Hello Bloppers!

Welcome to my little part of Outta This Funk's Blog Hop/blop! Hopefully you have found your way thus far, I think Wendy sent you over to me. Hope you have enjoyed the ride so far!
So what I have is a layout of my ds and I. I just love this paper, and thought it made really pretty "mother's day" type paper for a layout about me. (since I am the mother, lol) I love the bold color, and I am just going to have to get me some more of this paper. My challenge to you today is- create a layout having to do with mothers day-- one with you and your kids, you mother, grandmother, mother in law, somebody elses mother- who ever! :D Let me know you did it by leaving me a comment, and posting it on the outta this funk site by next saturday, and I will give away a little scrappy something to the winner. :D

Don't forget to leave me a comment, let me know you came- cause as you can see by my previous posts-I don't get many visitors. (or my blog is just to b-o-r-i-n-g, lol.- kind of like my life right now)
So I am going to send you on to the next little blogette-- icutthescrap http://icutthescrap.blogspot.com/ and we will see what she has in store for you!
(hopefully everyone has posted their link to the next person. But if in your travels you find someone broke the link, you can go back to the home blog at http://www.outtathisfunk.blogspot.com/ and find a link to the next person in line) Don't forget to leave a comment! Have a happy saturday--I will be sleeping most of it away since I worked last night, and will have to catch up tonight. :D

Another note

I just saw the date on the blog post, and I realized today, 16 years ago I lost one of my best friends to domestic violence. Her dh killed her and both of their children April 19th, 1993. Makes me sad. It was also the day waco texas burned down, and the day Timothy mcvey bombed ok. city. OK, I hope this doesn't ruin my day now.

Got the Planter done!

almost--I need about 10 more bricks to finish it off. Then I can plant. But I think I am going to go get some peat pots today and start the plants in there--I hear your plants do better if you start them that way. I wouldn't know since I have never really grown anything, lol. well, maybe except for bulb tulips and daffodills.
I bought a new cabinet for my scrappy room too- got it in, but my scrappy room is a complete and utter mess. I don't even want to go in there, it is to overwhelming, lol. a little at a time I guess. :D
Yes, I actually got dh to do the first row of planter bricks. He didn't want to hear me bitch while he went to play golf, so we dragged ds out there too under great protest, and all worked on it together. ds whined the entire time, but I told im he couldn't go play until he gave me an hour of quality time. He still didn't do much, but I got a little out of him. Then he wnet off to play at his friends. He is really going to be mad in about 30 minutes when I make him go to wal mart with me for some seeds, peat pots, fertilizer, and the like, lol. Having a 10 year old is wonderful. (not) sassy, never wants to do anything with his parents. I long for the days now when he always wanted to be with us. Guess those are gone forever. :D
Well, off to give my little puggles a bath, she is sitting on my lap, and she stinks! Looks like I am going to make everyone happy on this fine sunday afternoon! :D
(it is a beautiful day today here in our corner of the world)

A new hobby!

oh my gosh, I can't believe I am going to share this, lolol. I can't believe it because I am wearing no make-up, and I look 50 years older than I feel, or even see my self-- why is that? You look in the mirror, and see one image, and then on camera-- you look totally older than you see yourself. Maybe it is a protective thing? lol. Anyway, I bought a new little flip video camcorder. I LOVE IT!!!!! You can record up to an hour-- it is totally digital, and you can edit on your computer. (although I had trouble with this, the program kept crashing, probably user error) Anyway- I made my first mini movie of sorts. I worked my butt off today getting the gound ready for my garden. Now I would have gotten alot further if John would have helped me like he said he would, and if My bff would have came over to help me lay bricks like she said she would. Oh well, can't expect people to jump on board when it involves work! (although they could have said no) Anyway, I got the yard tilled, and just recorded it to try out my new little cam. I heart it! ok, take a look, and if it gets to boring, just hit the little bar to fast forward, lol.

I'm a celebrity!

hahaha, not really, but I am the featured person for the month of april at mybodymakeover.com . that is the diet plan I went on last march 9, 2008. I have lost 107 pounds, and now am in the "living lean" phase. (ie-forever) It really wasn't that hard to do, it was just the getting started! Now I may get to go for an all expense paid trip to LosAngeles for a makeover and a part in the informericial. how fun is that? I don't know If I will get to go though, they don't have the exact shoot dates yet, and my work schedule is out. Depends on if someone can trade, or if I already have it off. wish me luck! Here is the link. I am the bottom right square, wearing the pink glasses! :d
http://forums.provida.com/6weekbodymakeover/default.html

OH AND!!! So today I went to the uniform shop to buy a couple of new uniforms, cause mine hang on me. So I want hot pink, and there are none in medium. darn it! none! Infact, every color I wanted, there were no mediums. I was ready to walk out when I spotted a pair of brown scrubs in medium in the style I wanted. so I go take them in the dressing room and THEY ARE TO BIG! so I am thinking no way. double check the size, they say medium. I just figured they were mismarked. so I go out and get several pairs of the colors I wanted in a small, go back in, and PERFECT FIT! oh my gosh, I can't believe I am wearing a small anything. Just made my day. I ended up spending 110.00. :D

OK, it's up!

I have my very first kit up on my site. Go take a look, let me know if the navigation is ok, easy to understand? I haven't started advertising yet-- wouldn't you know, when I am ready, the scrapbooking top 50 starts charging to be on their list. 10.00 a month. I don't think so, I would be number 485, no one would ever see my page there anyway, lol.
here is the link.
http://www.scrappinfun.com

Woke up this morning to SNOW!

The kind that sticks for awhile. What is up with that? My daffodills are blooming! grrrrr. I am so ready for winter to be over.
This was the last night off of my stretch, back to work tonight for 6 on. That is ok, my mom is in the hospital, so I can see her more. She had a parathroidectomy last WEDENSDAY and now her calicum levels are way to low, they can't seem to get them up. So what happens when they are up? you send her home, and they fall again? They don't have an answer for that. She is very frustrated.
So I did some cleaning out of my garage, I have 4 boxes of scrappy stuff I am going to donate to the developmental center here for the mds girls. They want to start scrapbooking, I think this will be a great start for them! I have about 2 feet of pattern paper, along with all kinds of stickers, an alpha punch set, everything they need except adhesive. I am sure the facility can supply some glue sticks. :d
Well, here ar a couple of layouts I did using the kit. I need to get the pictures up on the site, and start selling! It really is a fun kit. Here are a couple of pictures of the kit itself too.:D

What am I doing up at 4am?

ugg! I just cannot sleep! Life of a night shift nurse, you comeoff working a stretch, and it is so hard to turn your body around.
So I have a lot to do tday, but I will probably end up napping all day.
I got my first kit all packaged and divided up, ready to ship!! It is soooo cute! It is featuring Pink paislee's office lingo line, the kit is called "Peytonn". I have to admit, I kept dding things to it that I liked, and figured I better stop or it would be cost proohibbited, lol. Right now it will retail for 36.50. It has 8 sheets of cardstock pattern paper, 3 sheets of card stock, 1 sheet of journaling spots, 1 transparency sheet, 1 chipboard alpha, 1 chipboard elements pack, 1 set of deco brads, 1 set of press on rubons, 1 set of flowers. I just love the colors, I need to go make something with it, so I can give some examples! I don't have it up on the site yet- I am still figuring out the whole shopping cart thing, but maybe I can get it up today. If so, you can see it at http://www.scrappinfun.com for a looksie.
Now advertising--guess I better put on the thinking cap- any ideas?

My mom had surgery yesterday, and is in the hospital, so I will need to make a trip up there today too. She did well, had to have her parathyroids removed because they were messing up her calicum. she came through it well though. My dad is so cute and worried, he sure loves her. I am blessed to have parents that stayed together for 50 years- although there were times I wondered growing up, lol.

And I need to go grocery shopping--if we want to eat anything the rest of the week. I think I need to pour over some cook books first, and make a list, so I am not just buying what ever- then not know what to do wiht it! dh and ds are having a hard time with not having snacks in the house. I just won't buy them anymore-- I do, and what ever it is is gone in one sitting. Like a whole package of cookies, or the multi packs of chips-- gone. I have even tried to divi it up into single serve baggies, and they just take all the baggies, and eat them, so it is a waste of ziplocks. So I just quit. If they want a snack, they will have to make it from scratch, lol. Kind of a deterrent when you have to make it-- but better for both of them, they are getting a little round in the middle. :d
ds starts scoccer today, so I hope that will take care of the belly problem. I need to get my butt in gear with the exercise too.
Oh, and i need to make 5 sympathy cards today so I can give them to my friends. I am sure today will fly by.
Well, off to work on this web page, ttfn.

Saturday, March 14, 2009

I am feeling so very sad today.

There has been so many tragic things happen here lately, I just count my blessings, then think "oh my, that could be be or one of my family so easily". In the last month-
1. a friend I work with, her dh commited suicide 2 weeks ago.
2. A good friend- her dh was killed last wed. because a dump truck ran a stop sign, and plowed into him.
3. Another friend at work, her son was killed last monday night in a rollover accident.
4. A nurse I work with, her father's car missed a curve, and he plunged into the colorado river and drowned last thrus night.
5. A friend I work with-her brother commited suicide yesterday morning.

sigh. So tragic, and 2 were preventable. What is really sad is the attempted suicides in this valley have really increased over the last couple of months. really co-insiding with today's economy. It's rather scarey! And we really don't have a great mental health system here, the facility we do have turns people away, has been in danger of being shut down by the state, blah blah blah.
Then everything on the news. I tell you, the world is a scarey place! And let me tell you I am not impressed with our new CEO, 44 days or so in office, and the only thing I hear him say is he is not going to raise our taxes (unless you make a ton of money) but yet, I see taxes going up on everything! Not my personal income tax, but taxes on everything I buy, my property tax is going UP, EVEN THOUGH the value of my house is going DOWN. So uh, yeah mr. President, I would say you have raised my taxes, and I would rather pay more personal income tax, than pay it out on the things I buy, or my car registration, or my home. You are getting by far the bigger end of the deal with my money that you claim you are going to help keep it in my pocket! AND I have seen him do nothing but spend spend spend! I think if we take away the earmarks, revamp programs, and hold people more accountable on what was done with our money, we would have more, and wouldn't need to raise any tax.
(ok, how did I get off on this tangent?)
Well, I am at work now, and I tell you I just feel grateful to have a job right now. So I guess I better get back to work, and earn my money. :D

Wednesday, March 11, 2009

Guess what I got today?

my very first shipment of supplies for my new online kit club! OK, so I will be starting out small, but it is going to be so fun. I hope to have everything ready to go by the end of the month. The fist kit is going to be a collection of pink paislee products, cute cute stuff! I went with the office lingo collection pretty much, with some enchanting products thrown in-- and a little surprize! The kits will retail from 28.00 to 36.00 depending on what is in them. My plan is to offer 4-6 kits for sale at any one time, but in order to have that much product on hand, it taks alot of capitol. (ummmm, money, lol) So I will probably start off with 2 and go from there. I have been putting this kit together today, and it is all I can do not to stop and go scrap with one. On another note, I had to make room for this stuff coming in. so I have a paper rak that has been sitting in my garage. I thought, I could put the kits together, and store them on the rack. BUT dh told me I had to clean out my scrap boxes first. So I set out on that daunting task. omg. So this is what happened. When we moved here 3 years ago, I told dh as the boxes were unloaded, they were marked, put them in the room they go in. Do you think he could do that? nooooooooo. So all my scrap boxes were stacked in the garage. "just until you get your room together" uh hu. So over the last 3 years, I have my room together----and filled with all new stuff, lol. (I am such a horader!!!) So I start unpacking, and I don't know where to put it all. I have so much paper, I could literally scrap the rest of my life, and not use it all. really. I can't even think about how much money is invested, but over 10 grand, I can tell you that. Probably that in paper alone. (blushing icon here now) All my storage places for paper are filled. In fact, I even put together a box I thought I would give away on free cycle, and it is about 2 1/2 feet of stacked pattern paper. No cardstock, just paper. It is paper I thought i would probably never use. Then I got to tinking-- why do I buy so much? I seem to have to have the latest and greatest, but by the time I get to it, it is old news. I actually found 2 kits that I had not even opened from when I belonged to scrapbook obsessions, and club scrap. ei yi yi. so here is a little video of me and my scrappy mess. No it is not all cleaned up yet, so there will be no after video for awhile, as I start a 6 night stretch tomorrow, and I don't feel like cleaning it any more today, lol all the paper is put away, now I just have "stuff". and oh my, yes, I have alot of stuff too. Maybe I should put up a "garage sale" section on my website to sell off some of that too? I don't know, I think most of us want the latest and greatest, not someones old stuff, lol. well, don't laugh at me, here it is. (as soon as I can figure out how to put it here from u-tube, lol)

Thursday, March 05, 2009

Well, lots has happened since I have updated

I just can't rmemeber it all, lol. Here are some layouts I have done in the last month. I didn't realise I did so many. :D It sure is fun to go in and create just for you, not thinking about if they need to be good enough for a design team or not. getting back into the love of the craft!

So, I REACHED my weight loss goal!! 107 pounds down, and now I have to maintain that. :^|. So far so good, I am down 1 pound below my goal. I reached it feb. 19th, 2 days before my birthday! It was a great birthday present to myself! My parents bought me a food saver for my BD, I love the thing! I buy alot of fresh veggies and make food for the whole week, so this is really helping me not only portion out my food, but keep it fresher longer. It is a wonderful device. :D

Well, gotta run for now, it is 10 am and I am still in my jammies. :D

Wednesday, January 21, 2009

Finally Scrapped!

I got a day where I just kind of did my own thing, lol
I straighened out my scraproom, added 2 new small storage cubes, and reorganized. Then it inspired me to sit down and scrap a little, lol. So here are the pages I did-- and I made the card for Bradley to send to my sister in law as a thankyou for the 35.00 gift card to best buy she sent to him. I have to work tonight, for the next 3, so won't get much time to do anything else for awhile.

Here is the card

Layout using stuff from one of my kit clubs.

Just a fun one.

Just love this one of ds, so innocent looking, lol.

This one was just fun! I think my fav out of the 4, and it took the least amount of time, lol. go figure.

And as I look at these, I really need to think out of the box more. All my embellies are clustered down to the bottom left of the layout. They are all looking the same to me, lol. OK, back to the drawing board, next ones (whenever I get to scrap again) are going to be different! :D

Did a little face lift here

I have so neglected my blog! So time for a little lift, lol. I just finished installing adobe cs 4 on my computer-- way to much stuff for me to know. I just wanted photoshop--the latest version of coarse, and I think it is even to powerful for me. I need a class! I have so much I want to do, yet I don't seem to ever do any of it-- do you get that way?
I bought a new snow suit off ebay--well 3 actually, lol. I wanted the purple one, but didn't think I would get it, so I bid on a blue and pink one, and ended up winning all 3, lol. So I am set for the snow! Now if I ever get off my butt to use them, I will be in good shape! I hate going hiking in the snow, and being cold, so I got them just for that reason. I would really like to try snowshoeing now. skiing is out of the question, my knees just couldn't take it. Although I am pretty good hitting the slopes on my new wii fit, lol.
I am still struggling with the last 2.5 pounds I have to lose to reach my self imposed goal. I just can't seem to do it. I know if Iget off my but and exercise, it will come off, but I am being lazy--or maybe it is a self sabotauge kind of thing, I don't know. I will get there eventually.
Finally downloaded my chistmas photos to the computer, now If I can just get them uploaded to sams club, so I will have prints. I am to lazy to print them myself, lol. I would rather just have them! Here is a family picture of us on christmas eve. Isn't my boy getting big? wow 10-- and in the last month he has gone from a size 10 boys to a 14! no totally missed the 12's. I think if he took off 4 pounds though, they might fit. I got him on the new wii fit, and he seems to really like that, we also have been taking him sledding twice a week, so there is some good exercise. I quit buying junk food some time ago, but dh still brings it in. Yesterday he bought Brad skittles-- a huge bag, and I wouldn't let him give them to him. grrrr! Just what he needs, sugar! I am trying to give him healthy junk food, like kashi ceral (oh, it is so good) as a dry snack, and fresh fruit for other type snacks. He would much rather have icecream and candy, but I am trying to teach him that those are very rare occasions--not working with the dh though, lol.
Well, it is 5am, and I am up for some reason. thought I would update, and have my coffee, now I think I will work on my scrap room, so that when I do decide to scrap, I can get in there, and know where some of my stuff is, lol. Christmas just destroyed my room--don't know how- I didn't scrap, but I made a quilt, did some jewelry, and just threw stuff in there to get it out of the way. NOw I have to pay the piper for it. I will try and update a little more often, but I figure no one wants to hear about my boring life, lol. tootles!
